This year's HFOSS Summer Institute starts May 18, 2009 until July 27th 2009 at Trinity College, Hartford Connecticut Campus. Our 12 interns are working on a variety of Projects, all with unique humanitarian goals. A sister institute is hosted at Connecticut College, New London CT.

This website serves as a point of documentation for the various teams and is maintained by the student developers.

  • May 18th: 10 week Summer institute begins
  • May 22nd: Project Management 101 by Ryan Oaks, Partner from Accenture Corporation
  • May 28th: Gnome Accessibility Overview, by William Walker, Lead Accessibility Project.
  • June 5th: POSIT Team gets their individual Google Android phones after completing tutorials.
  • June 5th: Virtual EOC(alpha) goes live for FIGS Exercise in NYC.
  • June 8th: Hartford Learn v.0.5 goes live for Public Hartford Library.
  • June 11th: Virtual EOC development teams heads to NYC for FEGS Disaster Exercise meeting Press Release .
